The STIKO of Robert Koch Institute recommends since 14.02.2022 a second booster dose for:

• All persons above 70 years of age,
• all home care residents and
• persons with immune deficiency from the age of 5 years

at the earliest 3 months after the first booster jab.

Furthermore the second booster dose should be applied to:

• all healthcare workers at the earliest 6 months after the first booster dose.

For all the mentioned above who has suffered a Covid infection after the basic immunisation and first booster jab, a second booster dose is temporarily not advisable.
