From 26th October to 13th November 2020 a medical student of the Oldenburg University will have her training weeks in our surgery.
She should have the oppertunity to exerise practical skill early in her career: Taking medical history and clinical examination.
If you do not wish to be interviewed and examined by a medical student or to have her attending your appointment, please let our receptionist know.
Medical confidentiality is fully applied to such training sessions.

We obtain our tetravalent flu jab delivered from Monday, 21th September 2020 for the approaching winter months. Please contact us for an appointment.
It is recommended for patients:
– who are 60 years of age and above,
– who have chronic conditions e.g. Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, cardio-vascular, liver or kidney disease,
– who could be a virus spreader for patient at risk living in the same household or caring for such.
For the first time this year flu jab is also available free of charge for certain professionals:
– working in medical care, nursing home,
– at high risk by exposal to poultry or wild birds, etc.
COVID-19 and influenza could occur concurrently in patients at risk. Therefore flu vaccination is more than advisable for this group.
According to the German Federal Ministry of Health it is compulsory for all travellers entering Germany from a COVID-19 high risk country to have a swab test within 10 days after arrival. The list of those high risk countries is issued and updated by the Robert-Koch-Institut:

This rule applies to all who have spent the last 14 days in a high risk country before arrival in Germany.
The nasopharyngeal swab test is free of charge for you and available in our surgery. Please make an appointment and provide a proof of your travel e.g. a boarding pass or an invoice of ticket, hotel etc.
Niedersächsische Lehrerinnen und Lehrer können bis zum 11.10.2020 bei uns bis zu zwei COVID-19-Abstrichen durchführen lassen. Sie erhalten dafür Berechtigungsscheine von ihrer Schulleitung.

From now on we are able to store your relevant data for medical emergency onto your electronic health card:
Only authorised and registered health professionals with ID card will have access to the stored records on your card (doctors, pharmacists etc.)
In order to gain more control of your personal data stored on the electronic health card you can to apply your card with a PIN which is available from your health authority, similar to a bank card.
This service is free of charge for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further inquiries.
